The addition houses the fourth-generation company’s growing team of associates and structural design center that produces dimensional marketing materials and packaging.
Capabilities continue to expand with the installation of a 6-color Heidelberg Speedmaster CD 102 UV press. A Heidelberg Easy Gluer 100 (Folder) was added at the same time as the new press. Together, the enhancements expand Oliver’s presence in the packaging market by offering additional capacity, differentiated services and new surface decorating techniques. The techniques include:
- Special-effect coating
- Printing on plastic film or metallized paper
- Folding carton and luxury packaging production
Speed and productivity in Oliver’s digital/variable printing services have doubled thanks to the installation of an HP Indigo 7500 press. As one of the only Ohio printers with this state-of-the-art equipment, Oliver offers short run, high quality digital printing that includes printing with white ink technology.
Last year, the company also acquired certain assets of Williams Steel Rule Die Company. With the acquisition of Williams, Oliver’s list of in-house services now includes:
- Embossing
- Foil stamping
- Specialty folding and gluing, including capacity folds
- Tipping
